Oregon State has a funded scholarship that provides about $30,000 to the undergrads and up to five incoming freshman ($500/man). The scholarship was set up as a trust many years ago after a tragic accident by a deceased members relatives. The trust is managed by the University Foundation and scholarships are determined by a selection committee that consists of the Greek Life advisor, the Faculty advisors, the BB, the Chapter A, and can also consist of the ABT president, an officer from the Trust, and someone from the University Scholarship office.

Scholarships are determined based on the following criteria: GPA, Chapter Involvement, Chapter Awards, Campus Awards and Achievements, Campus Involvement, Community Service. For incoming freshmen this is changed to reflect High School involvement and GPAs.

If anyone would like a copy of the applications and scholarship information let me know and I will send the information directly to you.
